This isn't an issue at all, just a technicality. Normally when you start an Aran character you do a lot of damage in those opening scenes, as you're pretty much a gearless level 200. The game let's you practice your 4thJob moves Overswing as well as Final Blow in this section & generally one (one round of 3 presses of Attack) Overswing & definitely one round of Overswing + a Final Blow will kill the mobs. Here, it gives you the stats of a level 1 character so instead of doing say 10,000 damage on a regular attack you're doing 1~4 damage & cannot realistically kill the mobs.
