When disassembling equipment via the Maker skill, it looks like you currently gain twice as much the stated number (in the chat box) of relevant monster crystals. Have tested this with varying levels of equipment, but see below for an example, where I disassemble a level 50 thief hat and gain 4 Basic Monster Crystal 1s (as highlighted in my open inventory's ETC tab), instead of the two as specified in chat:
